Dear Reesi, Every now and then – we get a rare opportunity to see a STAR in the making. That was the case for my son (Kyle – age 9) and I – on the evening of Saturday July 17th. We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday at a wonderful club in Marina Del Ray, and were treated to the show of a lifetime. Reesi’s energy on stage was phenomenal and her singing was angelic. The band was connected flawlessly in accompanying perfect rhythm. Reesi needed the full stage (and then some) to share her beautiful performance with all the guests. Complete with costume changes – it’s as if we were watching a different performer with each new set. Her interaction with the audience combined with a million dollar smile – sets this talented woman on the path to a global audience. All of us in attendance that night were blessed to have had the opportunity to see Reesi and her band. Look out Lady Gaga, Beyonce, and Fergie – you’ve got competition!!!!!

A few nights ago, I attended a incredible show Starring Reesi Rocca she was was amazing, but she held the audience captive. She has a beautiful voice, soul, humor and rhythm like no one I have ever seen. We were truly impressed with her and it seemed like the show had just started and it was already over-with. I would have loved to have seen more because she is a true talent and will be going places. We will be hearing more of her very soon. Wow... I had the opportunity to check out Reesi Rocca and her band Roccamotion. Let me tell you… They came to play! They seriously rocked the Wherehouse in Marina Del Rey. That night I think that it was officially re-named “The ROCKHOUSE!” Reesi and her Band really put on a show, she was energetic, she was fun, and she mesmerized the crowd with her soulful vocals. The rest of the band kept pace step for step, throwing down some pretty tight guitar. There is question that Reesi loves performing and that she is driven by passion! That combination leads to some serious rock star potential. I made sure that I got an autograph.

Reesi’s style reminded me a bit of a young Gwen Stefani in the early days of No Doubt. Reesi has a powerful and soulful voice and is a really passionate performer. My husband and I loved the music as well as Reesi’s performance. The audience had a great time and really grooved on Reesi’s high energy. I was lucky enough to get a couple CD’s and I am already wearing them out! This music is a lot of fun to play when you are in the mood for something fast and soulful.

Motown meets Malibu. Powerful, yet fun and laidback. The Recci Rocca band is like hard rocking surf guitar band with a singer who can belt it out with the best of Motown.
